Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional Chronograph, Ref. 311.30.42.30.01.005, features a 42mm stainless steel case with a tachymetric bezel and a Hesalite crystal. The black dial possesses luminous hour indices, printed white minute calibrations, slightly recessed subregisters, and white center hands with luminous fills. Powering this Moonwatch is a hand-wound Omega 1861 (Base Lemania 1873) caliber that boasts a 48-hour power reserve and which is renowned for having been worn on the moon. Watch is presented on a stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp.

For sport watches, hacking does make more scene, more so a chronograph. It’s nice to see the chrono sec hand runs in sync with the sub sec hand for precision. Also, lateral clutch has more wear and tear, and, need to mentioned that the chrono function should not run continuously. In price comparison, the seiko 8R48 has a column wheel vertical clutch, and, the unique 3 pointed hammer and heart-shaped cam ensures the perfect synchronization of the hands flyback function at pin-point. My srq031 which cost less than 3k has Zaratsu finishing, and, it’s accurate to 3 spd. The 2mm protruding glass, interestingly, makes the watch looks compact (30mm dial). The fine soft cordovan straps wears so comfortable. I like this better than my daytona. Just stunning
I’m actually glad I watched this. I was debating between this and a Seamaster 44.5. The Seamaster was around 18mm thick. It would have looked like a brick on my wrist. Went with the Speedmaster.
Is 42mm fpr women and 44mm for man?
This looks like it’s overhanging your 16cm wrist yet you recommend it for as small as 14.5cm with the bracelet. I want this watch but I have the same size wrist as you and think it looks out of place. I can’t imagine how silly it would look on a smaller wrist than yours.

A very overhyped watch I had two new ones which were both returned with dial printing faults. More like a £1500 watch.
