As much as I love the Speedmaster, I find it’s one of those watches that looks great in product shots and oftentimes in videos, too. But when you actually examine one in person at an AD, it’s really kinda disappointing. It’s a bit cheap feeling, particularly the bracelet.
Also, I would never wash that watch under a tap. Subjecting it to a stream of water reproduces the same sort of pressure encountered during submergence.

Congrats on the watch. I prefer other Omega models as the speedy is quite dull. But I’d get the sapphire too if at all. The speedmaster with the meteorite dial is cool.
The moon watch is the perfect gateway into obtaining the unobtanium SS Rolex.

Good review Bruce. I’ve got an older hesalite Omega Speedmaster moon watch & I love it! I do love an exhibition case back but how often do you actually look at it or enjoy it?… These watches are still a stunning design.😎👍🏼
