Can you change the strap?
Does anyone know the difference between the speedmaster 3521.80 and the speedmaster 3523.80? I am undecided if there are clear distinctions.
I bought one like this but the second hand hits the date hand on day 24th and the watch stops. but If I move the date hand one day ahead its fine.
any Ideas? is that something taking it to service would fix it?
Great review Tim, I actually owned this piece. It was a great watch and wore very well!
Nice watch, but when I see an older watch that’s that complicated, the question that pops into my head is “Why doesn’t Omega make a chronograph day-date (triple calendar!) with am/pm indicator NOW?
I can’t help but believe that the answer is “Because those functions kept malfunctioning or breaking down!”
If I buy a Speedmaster, I’ll probably get one where the only additional complication is the date.
Tim, I would put this up against the newer IWC Da Vinci Chronograph 42mm. Both are gorgeous. I’d like your take on a comparison.
So is this watch for sale or not?
Still on my hit list! Is that a constant central seconds? I don’t see a 60 second subdial. If so, is there a seconds register for the chrono? Or is it lacking a seconds hand with the chrono disengaged? You didn’t get into the functions before the video ended.
