Great review for the deaf-mute crowd.
I have the exact same watch. Have been wearing daily since I bought it on my honeymoon in Macau back in 2001. What sold me was the circle pattern on the watch face surface that outlines the hour marks. Kinda like a racetrack around the clock. Your video doesn’t show it well, yet has striking reflection when light hits it at the right angle. Over the years this watch has had its bumps, wears and bruises yet still looks sharp today as like the day I bought it. The glass still looks crystal clear. Kudos to Omega’s workmanship and high quality materials.
It is so difficult to find any information on this particular watch a lot of people mistakenly refer to this as a reduced version but it is not. I even see them advertised on eBay as the reduced watch… it’s amazing that people don’t even know what they actually have. From what I understand this was a Japanese market watch… a much better movement than the reduced and isn’t a stacked movement which makes it less costly / easier to service. A friend of mine has one of these in pristine condition and he’s asking $1,400 he’s original owner with box paperwork and recent service records I’m thinking about pulling the trigger on it now that I know it’s not the loathed reduced model.
I got the same one. Can’t believe it’s accuracy. Im getting +1 second a day I’m amazed! Very beautiful as well.

Beautiful watch & very accurate. Is this the speedmaster date version?. I bought recently the same watch but different dial and bracelet. Mine from 2008, AD told me that. From which year is ur watch. Have u ever send it to SC for maintenance & recover?.
