Very awesome watch. I called my AD after watching this and they said there is only 3 in the U.S. currently in Omega boutiques.
Thanks for this. I’m looking to sell my SBGH269 and maybe save for this. I had a look at the two tone Seamaster and the dark side of the moons. Tossing up between the Seamaster and this. This is just too cool to pass up though. I always appreciate you showing us the watches in natural light!

This watch has been on my grail list for a while now
I’m not normally into edition /theme watches but this is radical . From the dial to the case to the movement. Very cool .
Absolutely love this watch, my only complaint is that it didn’t come in a smaller size similar to the standard sapphire sandwich or hesalite moon watchm. If it did I would definitely own one. Great review
I was lucky enough to source one of these last month. It’s certainly a watch that flies under the radar. Tends to get noticed by fellow watch enthusiasts instead, a little different to spotting yet another Rolex Sub across a room. I have a Classic hesalite 1861 Moonwatch too. They feel completely different due to the lightness of the ceramic. The strap wears nice, however I wish it came with the Titanium Ceramic deployment strap combo. Although available you are looking at $700 or so. For anyone considering the Apollo 8, id recommend, as long as you don’t mind keeping it away from water.
I bought one and it has been fantastic so far. It is higher maintenance being a manual but it’s worth it! The details make it one of the best speedys to have come out in a long time.
Lumed bezel? Lumed -crown-?! I love Omega.
