sedna gold is much nicer than rose gold. rose gold always looks too pink and kina tacky. sedna just looks more solid. i think the difference shows up a lot more in real life than in videos.

Not worth more than a Rolex Daytona, Patek, Vacheron, etc…. Extremely overpriced for the amount of gold.

“watch enthusiasts” do not call themselves “watch enthusiasts”.
Any idea on how many of these Omega will make over the years? The web site says it’s a boutique only and Chrono24 has 5 listings. All are over list by a small margin but the model is new.
I love the fact that Omega decided to evolve the Speedy instead of revolutionizing it. It’s the one watch that shouldn’t be changed dramatically. Upgrade the movement: definitely. Make small refinements to the dial: sure. Shrink the lug-to-lug distance ever-so-slightly: okay. Give the bracelet a nice taper: hell yeah.
The new Omega is definitely on my radar screen, just not in my budget right now. But, I’m building up my watch fund right now and this 3861 might be my next purchase. great video, AB.
The sedna gold is exceptional. I have the 44.25mm racing and I recall looking at the sedna gold version, just spectacular.
