Excellent and long needed explanation of the differences among Omega’s most iconic watch. My one great regret in my horological history is having sold my “original” Moonwatch I received from my parents when I graduated from High School almost a lifetime ago. It was bought in Switzerland for $125 US in 1968. I sold it for a Rolex Date Just in 1990 for $1400 and thought I did well. If I’d only known. Alas.
I’d want the Heselite 42 either the sandwich or ” flight qualified”. But I’d like to see the caliber.

personally i love the halo effect of the sapphire. PLUS i get to see the beautiful Caliber.
the other one i love is the 44.25mm watch. it’s big as you said but wears GREAT on the wrist. no lug over hang (thanks to the shorter lug length) . the one i would get is the Dark Side of the Moon. i LOVE this piece (but it’s a different story/different video).. . thanks great review.
