I do not know how the following information entered my consciousness.
Somehow, sometime in my life there was the idea that the SHRINERS and FREEMASONS were connected and that some Shriners were inducted into the Freemasons.
Some rites do this. I seen one out of the Scottish Rite. I think it was Southern Jurisdiction Scottish Rite. Never seen it from most the other Rites. A Rite is the basic structure of progression within the scale of Degrees. It was likely real, and dependent on area, or maybe a promotional for a charity. Just off the top of my head. As for joining, it’s really simple. Go down to your local Lodge, and talk to the Brothers there.

My dad is a freemason and has been for years but anytime I have ever tried to talk about it he would quickly change the subject so I literally have no info on them except what u see on videos and such
