   Great review Pete. I love panda and reverse panda dials, but this one really doesn’t float my boat. I like the subdials to be all the same size, and just hate how the oversized subdials overlap the chapter ring. Yuck.

   The way the bracelet scratches the case is a unforgivable design flaw by OMEGA , that would bug the hell out of me

   Still rocking the Vario strap and I still say that strap was made for that watch 100% One day I’ll own an Omega in my watch hobby journey but for them moment as you know Peter I’m enjoying my collecting of lower priced watches. I agree with many comm-enters here that your camera work is outstanding and I guess it goes back to your great career in photography.
   On the bracelet issue, I think at that price point that should not happen, it’s a bad design flaw that was obviously overlooked and possibly Omega used what some might consider a generic bracelet they had from another model or even a previous model so it was much easier for them to just put this one on instead of designing a bracelet from scratch just for this model. It’s just my point of view and I could be completely wrong but I have seen that done with other brand watches. Thanks for sharing mate, keep up the great work!!!!!

   Very impressive review, thank you. I love 38-40mm dials. 19mm lug width might be annoying when purchasing, but I suppose the original 20mm stainless steel bracelet would be too chunky and heavy for this jewel. All other observations are valid. Wish you this accuracy for the next 50 years.

   Just mentioning that date adjustment has to be done only 5 times an year. At least where I live (Europe). I tried it with some affordable mecaquartz watches. I suppose expensive timepieces are behaving in the same way. Of course I couldn’t reveal this secret only wearing my watches more than an year. One month is not enough. 🤓

   I own one of these as well (grey dial with the yellow highlights) and I concur with you on the likes and dislikes. The date pusher sucks and I won’t get another watch with that on the case in future. I put it on a 19mm Erika’s Originals Marine Nationals and it looks fantastic and wears perfectly. It also matches the more casual vibe of the watch. It has tons of personality and the quality of it really shines through the more you live with it.
