I wish they still made speedmasters with the hesalite crystal with a sapphire caseback.
Just sold my 9300 moonwatch to get this bad boy. Couldn’t get on with the sapphire crystal. Too cold and clinical. The hesalite has a warmth and that off axis distortion which can’t be beat.

This movement is IMO the best finished movement in its price range, other watches may have more decoration such as blued screws, but it’s not finished to a level like the omega 1863. It’s rare to see polished bevels on the bridges, balance cock, and even other parts at this price, and depending on the angle, the movement really sparkles. This movement looks much better in real life. Sure it can’t be compared to a Patek or Lange but it is still incredible given the Omega is just a fraction of the price.
One of the best watches of all time, that means alot coming from an avid Patek and Rolex enthusiast.
The Moonwatch is so killer. Looks cool as hell now and will look cool as hell in 50 years. This version with hesalite on top and sapphire underneath is pretty rare.
would you know what model i have it has left to right on the 3 dials day of week date and 24 hour dial i have not seen another.
