Dude that watch is plenty good enough for any kind of swimming or washing dishes or showering lol. Geez 🙄
Interesting video though James Bond originally wore a Rolex Submariner in the books and early films. If you can’t afford a Rolex or an Omega, I can highly recommend a Seiko Automatic Diver’s 200m. I’ve had one since 2000 and it has survived many deep dives. Being automatic you don’t have to break the seal to change the battery so it has stayed watertight all these years. It’s definitely a bit chunky for formal wear but I have a nice Seiko dress watch for more formal occasions.
Y’know, regarding that water rating, if rating for 5 bar pressure is supposed to be equivalent of 167ft. deep, but then I keep hearing different reviewers in multiple channels all agreeing that is barely casually splashproof, it sounds like either I’m missing something or else someone defined a rating in a very strange and not very useful manner.

Modern Speedmasters can handle showers and even swimming according to Omega. I have one and have had no issues with every day encounters with water. It’s a stunning piece.

What does he think about the Breitling Navitimer? (That is my “Holy Grail” timepiece. The Speedmaster is on the (very) short list.
Thanks a lot for this amusing review. Well done and great research. My Moonwatch is my grailwatch and it is because of Apollo 11 that I am wearing it. It stands for a certain tradition and boldness which I admire and which inspires me. It has the Heaalite because it would not splinter in Zero-G and the original Speedies in Space are utilizing it because of exactly the same reason. Please do more reviews like this. Very enjoyable 👍🏻😉🚀
With 5 bar water resistance, you can shower with it but that’s it. I’d rather have the Seamaster
Of ourselves not. No Omega watch is “worth it” overrated and overrated brand. They’re not made of gold and jewels. There’s no justification for their price. They and Rolex are only equal to Seiko. And Grand Seiko sh@7s on them both.
