Fantastic & superb conducting of Maestro Harding.
This composition is one the few last gems crafted by Mozart for the humanity.
Cet accord final , comme un Soleil qui se lève , donne du sens à la vie qui s’éteignait après cette lente marche de la mort …Le Maître nous fait espérer…!
This, rather than Mozart’s Requiem, is the legacy of the kyrie of Michael Haydn’s 1771 Requiem. This is not to belittle either piece, or this fine performance. However, many of the comments here are by people who don’t seem to know this and are therefore inconsequential or even pointless. Edward Cooper
“wow!”
You know what it’s about when you play something like that. The players must have been so serious and channeled the grieving. May the Lord grant eternal rest to all those who are now asleep. Amen.
It’s always SO much better when they “emote”!
Its not intense enough
Just beautiful!
Ich kenne dieses Werk aus dem Film „Das erste Evangelium Matthäus“ von Pier Paolo Pasolini.
Pasolini used this piece in the Crucifixion scene of his film Il Vangelo secondo Matteo (The Gospel according to Matthew).
