In 2017, when Knee was having a hard time, people were saying that he’s no good anymore and that he’s washed up. Then he dominated the whole 2018 and now he’s doing the same in 2019, people are calling him God and the best Tekken player of all time. It is what it is.

Its rare seeing a great king players in tournaments. Majin is a great king players.🙂
Lil magin sucks
I don’t expect anything from my man Majin. I now what he is about, he will do his best and he’ll do great. There are so many great players its hard to top 8.
100% Agree Swe! I was one of the many that sent Lil Majin words of encouragement on the post. He’s a star, and it is awesome that we get to enjoy him representing the USA and King in the TWT!!!
Jiyuana said the same thing basically about Kagemaru.
He mentioned that ever since Kagemaru pulled off that crazy OCV at MASTERCUP 2017 people were expecting him to maintain that level of play or better at every event he went to. & look while Kagemaru is a solid player, its still rare to see him make top8 at major events.
Being able to achieve consistent high results and maintain performance is incredibly difficult in Tekken or any sport/eSport for that matter. The expectations people have for Majin were pretty unhealthy. People tend forget that these top players are regular human beings just like the rest of us. Many of them have IRL responsibilities or commitments and can’t always commit themselves fulltime to a pro gaming career but still have a passion for it.
Also keep in my mind that Korean players are phenomenal at improving themselves & adapting to their opponents. Just because Majin beat Jeondding last year doesn’t mean he’ll be able to do it again and again just as easily. Its very likely Jeondding reviewed the tapes, labbed the hell out of King’s setups and cooked up a gameplan just for Majin for in case they met again.
The reason he’s so hard on himself was because he didnt lab the eddy matchup properly so he knew why he failed and he could of done something about it.
how come when you mentioned his rise you went straight to his social media like a bitch lol. mention his gameplay, not his popularity, as popularity isnt dictating his talent or ability. just the attention he receives. mention his evo performance. mention his matches against killers. went straight to mentioning twitter and facebook like a low self esteem woman lol. tf
Going toe to toe with Jeondding and Rangchu, the best Eddy and the best Panda in the world, shouldn’t be seen as a failure.
@TheMainManSWE It’s not so much about who he lost to as it is his actual performance in those matches. He was dropping tons of combos, making questionable decisions in the clutch, etc. To play well and lose is fine, to lose when you’re playing the tough opponents and have it be because of execution errors is somewhat disappointing.
Lil Majin is 1/2 of my 2 favorite Tekken players to watch even tho I’m Jin/Dev Jin main. TMM is the other half.
Lil Majin is the person who got me back or inspired me rather to become better at tekken. just this year actually. and it hurts seeing him like that.. but I hope Lil Maj would just think of it as this:
He has a full time job and is can still hold his own against gods whilst just using a King (get the pun?)… meaning to say those other “gods” he’s up against ain’t successful in life because they dont have full time jobs unlike Lil Maj… Lil Maj can be the face of tekken and still support a family.. those other gods he’s up against cant. because they most likely are just undergrads living in their mom’s attic playing tekken all day with nothing relevant to do that’s why they become gods of the game.
No one gets top 8 every tournament. Absolutely no one. Especially nowadays. Competition is stronger than ever now. To hell with the negative Nancys.
This is nice. Showing love to lil majin.
I completely agree
Amazing player, but a bit inconsistent.

maybe stop making those retarded “rock” eye brow poses then you could have time to practice more…
