A tool-assisted speedrun or tool-assisted superplay (TAS) is a set sequence of controller inputs used to perform a task in a video game. The input sequence is usually created by emulating the game and using tools such as slow motion, frame-by-frame advance, memory watch, and save states to create an extremely precise series of inputs.
I love Alex Kidd but that frog is just a asshole.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World has nostalgia by the bucket load.
Man this game kicked my ass when I was a kid nice work man.
Awesome nice one ^^
Such an epic battle of good versus evil. Someone better make a movie of Alex Kidd’s heroic feats or I’m gonna go punch Peter Jackson in his face, revealing the cane toting ghost that undoubtedly lurks beneath his pudgy facade.
So.. how are we supposed to know the order of the puzzle?
If you save the magical flying cane until the end you can actually skip the last boss by flying up to the ladder…saves more time 🙂
me to, I got past the final jenkin once, with the tactic of sacrificing lives to get past him, but then I died on the puzzle at the end, but my older brother could always do it.
This was one of the hardest games I had as a kid, and I can’t believe how close my sister and I were to beating the game. We usually had very few lives left on the last castle we died in the Jankin matches. I would have never been able to solve the puzzle at the end. I miss this game!
