Daigo explaining Kaizen method
IMO, you should not use subtitle fade-in/out transitions.
It only makes the translation hard to see.
I have heard this from many great achievers. Steve Jobs called it ‘Stay hungry’. What a champion Daigo is. Single handedly elevated the FGC to a level of prestige few video game communities have. A true paragon. What a legend. Moment 37 Forever!!
I may joke around a lot but I really love Daigo. He is an “everyman” hero that we really need right now. 🙂
That explains LTG, he doesn’t get bored of rage quitting. He improves his rage quitting speed every day. Amazing
Words of wisdom
This is the best thing I’ve heard from Daigo San. Well said.
He is right. I don’t play fighting games, but when I get bored with a game I don’t improve at all. I am playing Hollow Knight a lot and when I am bored I am making a lot of mistakes in boss battles I wouldn’t do otherwise. I get excited when I find a new strategy how to play the game untill I master the tactic and get bored again.
Damn that’s some advice
Daigo thank you. Same with the translator in this channel.
What a hypocrite, he plays SFV.
Please make a playlist for people who want to watch the complete lecture and not searching the parts one by one.
In summary: “Kaizen, motherf’ker” – Daigo
This video appeared at the right moment in my life. Thank you
Yeah, I’m DEFINITELY gonna have to watch this entire lecture. That was COMPLETELY mind blowing
I’ve never heard Daigo speak so much! It’s of substance 😀
“What they did yesterday is no different than what they did today. And they blamed the game”
Damn.. i could say the same thing about me trying to improve at drawing
What really made me progress even further was just changing the subject matter rather than just staying in one topic just mindlessly grinding.
I guess in videogames whether it be MOBAs or fighting games it’s a lot harder to do because the only way you can diversify your subject matter is through the characters that you play with varying movesets and playstyles. (correct me if im wrong because im not really versed into the whole competetive gaming sphere)
But to sum it all up i guess, the last thing you want when improving at something like videogames, is stagnation.
Lovin’ the daigo
Wow that’s really insightful and honestly true as far as I can tell in my own experience with gaming and life.
