Final Boss is still the most badass team name
Literally wanted to cry just seeing the thumbnail. What a time. What an era. Beautiful
“We didn’t really like Halo 3. It felt like a dumb’d down version of Halo 2.”
Couldn’t agree more. There are so many H3 babies that think it’s the best Halo in the franchise, and it blows my mind. The skill curve is so much lower on that game than it is H2, and it’s when halo took a turn for the worse. All of the stupid equipment ruined it for me.
If you genuinely had xbox live and played H2 during that era, I doubt you appreciate H3 that much. Fucking H3 babies drive me insane. That game is the most overrated title in the Halo franchise.
Yeah I knew these guys were from the same town as me lmfao
Halo is, and has always been, garbage
Watching the Ogre twins play Halo on mainstage was like watching a fantasy, something magical would always happen.
Should of named this video nostalgia
Lol I met the Ogre twins at a MLG Halo 3 combine in denver and they got shitted on by amatures.
You guys should check out Gandhi’s channel (Scott Lussier) for his intense summaries on the competitive Halo 2 history:
2005 Halo 2 MLG history: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORjH-LMMvGg
2006 Halo 2 MLG history: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NooDIZ29Pys
2007 Halo 2 MLG history: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSNhlx5HmUw
I remember being trained by Killer N when he was on Xit Woundz in 2006. This game was fucking SERIOUS. There were competitive Halo 2 players up the ass everywhere at the apex of its MLG popularity. I would play for DAYS, no sleep whatsoever. No work, no school, no NOTHING, just straight Halo 2. Now that I look back, Halo 2 was honestly like a damn religion; people would lose friends over this stuff !!!!!! At one point, I remember being in an FFA Midship game online with Strongside. Couldn’t believe I was that close to the Gods.
God, that’s so cool they started their competitive career at Ohio University of all places. OU, OH YEAH ✊🏽
I’d really like to see a video on Pistola. His is a great story, and he’s a genuinely great dude. Would be a good watch.
Lol I just beat this dude in Destiny 2 and he talked shit lol.
Fortnite kids don’t remember how it all started.
Overhyped… good as fuck but overhyped… I miss halo and halo 2. Nobody that plays halo is worth a damn any more.
What happened to Walshy?
Back when halo 2 was released
Those graphics were legendary
Today I see them and puke
I feel kinda bad for ogre2. He averages like 30 viewers on twitch nowadays.
The Ogre twins, and the Final Boss roster in general, will always be legends.
