Pulpitis is reversible when the pain is mild to moderate and lasts for a short time after a stimulus (for instance cold); or irreversible when the pain is severe, spontaneous, and lasts a long time after a stimulus. Left untreated, pulpitis may become irreversible, then progress to pulp necrosis (death of the pulp) and apical periodontitis. Abscesses usually cause throbbing pain.
This HD video illustrates the extraction of a soft tissue impacted wisdom tooth by Dr. Calcaterra in Orange, CT. With IV sedation and a non-invasive technique, our patient remembers nothing and felt no pain. Visit our website at http://www.orangectdentist.com to learn more.
Toothache may be caused by dental (odontogenic) conditions (such as those involving the dentin-pulp complex or periodontium), or by non-dental (non-odontogenic) conditions (such as maxillary sinusitis or angina pectoris). There are many possible non-dental causes, but the vast majority of toothache is dental in origin.
The clinical examination narrows the source down to a specific tooth, teeth, or a non-dental cause. Clinical examination moves from the outside to the inside, and from the general to the specific. Outside of the mouth, the sinuses, muscles of the face and neck, the temporomandibular joints, and cervical lymph nodes are palpated for pain or swelling.

Mine are coming out tomorrow and I decided “hell, imma watch this to see if it makes me feel less scared” and it did not make me feel less scared it infact had the opposite effect.
I just got my left bottom wisdom tooth removed because it was causing me a bit of pain despite having place in my mouth and it being fully out and rightly placed. However, everytime I see people getting their wisdom teeth extracted they always get rid of all four so now I’m confused lol. Should I keep the 3 remaining (they are all out and healthy and do not cause any pain/discomfort) or do I have to take them all out ?
My dentist told me that they usually take them all out at once if they’re likely to cause issues later but mine aren’t. So I don’t know if if I do decide to keep the remaining teeth it can lead to other issues (shifting of the rest of the teeth, asymmetry in jaws, etc).
Somebody help please, thanks in advance!
How much does this cost ??
Omg if I cried because of a head ache I’m gonna cry when this happens
